About Sizzlecious Indian Recipes Food Blog:
Indian cuisine is diverse as well as vast. It consists of a wide variety of regional and traditional cuisines native to the Indian subcontinent. India has different cultures, climate, soil type, herbs, spices, vegetables, and other ingredients. This diversity can be seen in a wide variety of Indian recipes.
Unfortunately, India was invaded 200 times by foreigners in the past. They looted huge wealth from the country. As a result, the economic condition of India weakened. However, foreigners introduced new foods to India such as chili, tomatoes, peppers, and so on. European style cooking was introduced by Europeans during the colonial period that added diversity to the Indian cuisines.
The longstanding vegetarianism within sections of the Hindu, Jain, Buddhist, and other communities has exerted a strong influence on Indian recipes. For this reason, India is heaven for vegetarians.
