Kheel Namkeen Recipe is an easy-to-make and quick snack that you can make within minutes using the leftover kheel. Kheel Batasha is a Diwali prasad and an inescapable part of celebrating Diwali. Parched paddy or puffed rice is a kind of flaked paddy and Batasha is a sweet made by first melting the sugar and then solidifying it.

During the Diwali festival, kheel is offered as prasad. Often due to the offerings from many people, it accumulates in large quantities at home. You can make many types of recipes with this leftover rice such as kheel poha, kheel ki kheer, kheel ki chat, and so on.

Today, we will be making kheel masala namkeen mixture using leftover kheel, roasted peanuts, and tomato chips. Then, we will fill the mixture in a roasted papad cone.

  1. Stir fry parched paddy for 1 minute.
  2. Add kashmiri lal mirch, ginger powder, and chat masala. Stir fry for 1 minute.
  3. Pour paddy in a bowl and then add masala peanuts and tomato chips.
  4. Roast papad and make the shape of a cone.
  5. Fill the mixture in the papad and serve.

SERVINGS

Ingredients

  • 5 grams vegetable oil
  • 1 cup parched paddy
  • 1.5 grams rock salt
  • 0.5 grams ground kashmiri red chili
  • 0.5 grams ginger powder
  • 0.5 grams chat masala
  • 20 pcs masala peanuts
  • 10 pcs tomato chips
  • 4 pcs papad

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan and then bring down heat to low-medium. Next, add parched paddy and then stir fry for 1 minute.
  • Add rock salt, kashmiri lal mirch, ginger powder, and chat masala.
  • Mix all the ingredients well and then stir fry for 1 minute. Next, transfer kheel to a mixing bowl.
  • Add masala peanuts and tomato chips. Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Cut papad from edge to center.
  • Heat a hot plate and dry roast the papad. Make the shape of a cone. Fill the mixture and serve.
