How to make khoya paneer

  1. Heat butter in a pan and then saute cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, black cardamom, green cardamoms, ginger, garlic, and cloves.
  2. Add cashew nuts and almonds. Add water and then boil the ingredients.
  3. Remove whole spices and make a paste. Strain the mixture using a sieve to get the smooth paste.
  4. Heat butter in a pan and then add dry spices.
  5. Add panner and coat with the spices.
  6. Pour in the paste we made and then add khoya.
  7. Add milk, cream, and dried fenugreek leaves.
  8. Add sugar and salt.

Ingredients

  • 60 grams butter
  • 3 grams cumin seeds
  • 1 pc bay leaf
  • 1 pc cinnamonstick
  • 1 pc black cardamom
  • 2 pcs green cardamom
  • 2 pcs clove
  • 15 grams ginger
  • 7 grams garlic
  • 220 grams onionchopped
  • 120 grams tomato
  • 40 grams cashew nut
  • 40 grams almond
  • 3 grams ground kashmiri red chili
  • 2.5 grams ground turmeric
  • 4 grams ground coriander
  • 20 grams coriander leaveschopped
  • 200 grams paneer
  • 50 grams khoya
  • 7 grams fenugreek leavesdry
  • 200 ml milk and cream
  • 4.5 grams sugar
  • 7.5 grams salt

Instructions

  • Heat a Kadhai on medium heat. Once heated, about 30 grams of butter and let it melt.
  • Once melted, add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, black cardamom, green cardamoms, and cloves. Saute for 15 seconds.
  • Add ginger, garlic, and then saute for 15 seconds. Add chopped onions and saute for 20 seconds.
  • Add cashew nuts, almonds, and stir for 30 seconds. Add 1.5 cups of water and let the ingredients boil for 5 minutes. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Remove whole spices from the mixture and then blend the mixture in a blender jar. Strain the mixture using a sieve to get the smooth paste.
  • Heat a Kadhai on medium heat. Once heated, 30 grams of butter and then add Kashmiri chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and coriander greens. Saute for 1 minute.
  • Add paneer and then saute for 1 minute to coat the spices on the paneer. Add the blender paste we made earlier and cook for 1 minute. Add khoya, mix khoya well with the other ingredients and then cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add dried fenugreek leaves and mix well with other ingredients. Add milk and cream mixture and then stir continuously for 2 minutes.
  • Add sugar and salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
